Inside Sales Account Executive |

Tegrity seeks a high energy Inside Sales Account Executive. This position is for a motivated mid-level inside sales professional to join the team and grow with our company. The candidate will preferably currently reside within close proximity of the Santa Clara corporate headquarters. This position will report to the Vice President of Sales.
Responsibilities include:- Locating and qualifying sales opportunities for our enterprise software solutions and professional services.
- Cold calling mid to senior-level higher education academic and administrative managers and executives to generate interest and initiate sales opportunities.
- Developing and closing enterprise-wide software sales.
- Support to Regional Sales Director including reaching, qualifying and requalifiying prospects.
- Arrange and coordinate Regional Director’s on-site sales meetings.
- Performing engaging introductory online sales presentations and webinars.
- Writing accurate sales quotes and proposals.
- Expedite customers’ purchasing processes.
- Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date customer and prospect database.
- List creation and research assistance in coordination with marketing department.
- Verbal and written communications with customers, pre- and post- sales.
- Occasional travel to conferences, prospect presentations and customer meetings.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years solution sales experience over the phone with demonstrated results is a must.
- Experience with technology sales to higher education market a major plus.
- Willingness to work an early schedule to support Central and Eastern time zone clients.
- Proven ability to close complex sales.
- Ability and passion for acting as a customer advocate and responsiveness to client needs.
- Experience in identifying and qualifying sales prospects.
- Superior attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Considerable experience with contact databases – Siebel experience a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and priority setting.
- Skilled at adapting to frequent change.
- Must be a team worker with good interpersonal skills.
- College degree, preferably with major in marketing, business, or education.
