We've seen an overwhelmingly positive response from our users, and Tegrity is the only lecture capture solution that offered our instructors the ability to capture content in any classroom on their own computers and to offer them to UCF students in a variety of convenient ways suited to their media preferences

Our retention and graduation rates have gone up in this period and lecture capture technology is an important piece of why we're having success with those increasing numbers. Today's entering student expects it. They've grown up with the Web. As far as they are concerned, it's a given that it should be used in the classroom. Before we even heard about course capturing systems, I knew that we had to find ways to use technology to help students learn. And when I heard about Tegrity, it made a heck of a lot of sense to me.

Tegrity lecture capture technology helps us improve retention; reduce the time to degree; and improve our graduation rate. With Tegrity, we maintain a level of competitiveness necessary  in a global market.

With Tegrity, we can show students and parents what Tegrity can do for them, not only in the classroom, but for general note-taking and/or downloading to their iPods or mobile devices. It's fantastic! Anyone would have loved to have had this technology available to them when they were doing their undergraduate or graduate work; I know I would!

The course evaluations and student feedback indicated that Tegrity greatly improved the students' learning experiences. The students were unanimous in viewing Tegrity as a valuable resource.

I don't see Tegrity as a gimmick or a fad. I see it as directly related to teaching and learning. Our teachers tell us they are preparing their classes now in different ways, and maybe in more thoughtful ways, as a result of this technology.

When Tegrity came along, coupled with Blackboard, we realized this is what we all had been waiting for. Student recruitment and retention have both increased while Tegrity has been available in the distance learning environment.

It's like that line from the baseball movie: ‘Build it and they will come.' If we build good programs, the students will come. Put two chapters in Tegrity and see what happens. If it doesn't make a difference, I'll eat my hat.

These days, students are raised on technology, carry iPods around with them at all times, and ours school's been using downloaded lectures for years.  So Tegrity was a no-brainer, a natural part of the technological evolution.  Being able to fit their learning activities in with their busy schedules is a great advantage for our students.

Tegrity brings new excitement and inspiration to my profession.  I can't imagine teaching without it.
