How SBCTC selected a system-wide lecture capture solution for its more than 400,000 students
In order to improve academic achievement for the more than 400,000 students attending Washington State's public system of 34 community and technical colleges, SBCTC developed a streamlined process for selecting a system-wide lecture capture solution. At the end of the process, the SBCTC selected Tegrity Campus, a cloud-based lecture capture service.
As per its Strategic Technology Plan, SBCTC focuses on one goal: to mobilize technology to increase student success. Hear from Cable Green, Director of eLearning & Open Education at SBCTC, on how this large-scale lecture capture deployment directly supports the system's goal of increasing student success; as well as how SBCTC was able to leverage its collective buying power to cost-effectively bring the benefits of lecture capture to each and every student within the system.
Also covered in this webinar will be:
* Details on SBCTC's Strategic Technology Plan
* Overview of the criteria and process used for SBCTC's selection process
* Key requirements of the lecture capture solution

From Disaster Recovery to Growth; Delgado Community College Serves Online and Traditional Students with Class Replay
Hurricane Katrina served as a painful catalyst to stimulate the growth of online learning at Delgado Community College in New Orleans. Capturing and delivering classes online with Tegrity Campus offered an effective learning alternative for displaced students, and a majority of students who endured for the Katrina-interrupted semester were able to successfully complete courses. Today, Delgado is not only surviving, but thriving, with increased student recruitment and retention resulting from its blended offerings. Tegrity’s web-based class capture and replay is a key ingredient to this success. Tegrity provides preparation for future hurricane seasons, but more importantly, it effectively serves working students by combining face-to-face coursework along with online sections. In this one-hour interactive session, you will learn from Delgado administrators and faculty about how they have deployed Tegrity, and how they have maximized the impact on student achievement.
